Description:Minako is the reincarnation of the Princess of Venus, and transforms into the Dynamic Fighter, Sailor Venus. Before Minako joined the Sailor Senshi, she fought crime in England as Sailor V. After a friend broke her heart, Minako returned to Japan where her guardian cat Artemis brought her to meet Luna and the four other Senshi. Minako is fluent in the English language from her time spent in England. Minako is arguably the most friendly and likeable of the five Senshi, and cares deeply about her family, her friends, and small children. She enjoys shopping, volleyball, romantic action movies, and just being mischievous.

Minako is the only one of the inner Senshi that has not married or had children. Minako has had varius boyfriends in the past but her carefree spirit has not allowed her to settle down. She is currently employed as a model for various magazines and travels quite a bit, unless she is called to the Crystal Palace on Sailor buisness. Her guardian cat, Artemis still stays by her side and advises her when he is not involved in Royal matters.
Venus had a past relationship with the warrior named Mysterio during the 1st Silver Millenium. She was currently engaged in a relationship with General Nephrite of Earth(before he was turned into Queen Beryl's servant). Venus could not resist flirting with Mysterio, the new face at court, and they had a relationship on the side. Nephrite found out about this and challenged Mysterio to a duel at a ruined fortress on the dark side of the moon. As they met for the duel Nephrite sprung a trap which imprisoned Mysterio within a wall in the fortress. Venus has no knowledge of what ever happened to Mysterio, all she could figure was that he returned to his respective kingdom with out even a goodbye and he was forgotten.
With the defeat of Void Minako thought that finally Yahara and her would be able to make up for lost time and fin the love they lost over the years, but He was called home. Now Minako must once again face the reality that she has no one special near her. Artemis and the rest of the senshi try to help her, but perhaps this new threat to the Moon Kingdom will help her through this period without her star crossed love.
