Chapter 15: Past Revealed
Enmity sits on his throne addressing his followers. It appears we will have to find a new home. I was hoping my sister would join us, but it appears all that happened is that I discovered she is actually the legendary Ultimate Healer. Which is odd. Only an ancient can power up a Senshi to that.
Mysterio steps forward. What about that tiger? I heard them refer to him as the Ancient One. Could he be an ancient? Enmity considers this for a moment. Peace is so old they call him an ancient. Enmity answers. He was one of Queen Serenity’s advisors during the Silver Millennium. Of course so was Kodia. Most of the history of the Ancients has been lost, and since I no longer share the link with my sister, I can not draw on her feelings for insight.
Malice flies in the window, and lands on Enmity’s shoulder. Malice bows. My Lord, they are planning to attack us very soon. Your sister has given them information on the weakness of the barrier. Enmity rises. As I figured she would, we must get started then to stay one step ahead of them. Mysterio, I want you to start training Taurus and Ariel immediately.
I will work with Wicked Lady. Seems she is still tired from when my sister took a power from her. He chuckles at the thought of Wicked Lady being over powered so easily. Mysterio bows to Enmity and proceeds outside with Taurus, and Ariel for training. Meanwhile Enmity proceeds to Wicked Lady's chamber to wake her up.
Chenoa is in the Queen’s Chambers with Neo-Queen Serenity, and King Endymion. She had been summoned there after the Queen learned of her kiss with the King. My Queen, I apologize for my moment of weakness, and beg your forgiveness. My King to you as well. I did not realize it was you that I kissed. I had been having visions of Kodia, and I suppose...Neo Queen Serenity interrupts Chenoa. Chenoa, I believe you. It’s okay.
The Queen decides to change the subject, considering the kiss matter closed. Now we must discuss Enmity, and the others under his power. Endymion breaks in. So the main reason they captured you, and took you to their base was mainly to get to join them? Chenoa nods. I believe that is what his goal was. While I was there Mysterio took on an illusion of Kodia, but I knew it wasn’t him because Kodia and I are linked to each other. I imagine it’s sort of like the two of you. You know when the other is near you.
The King, and Queen nod in understanding. The three continue talking about the base of the enemy and decide they must act quickly before the enemy moves. Chenoa also tells the royal couple about Peace, and his connection with Kodia. It seems that Kodia and Peace share the same body, but I am unsure of why. In the Silver Millennium Kodia, and Peace were two separate beings. The Queen finally stands. We must share all this information with the council so we can act quickly, come, they should be waiting for us.
In the Senshi Council. All eleven Senshi, King Endymion, Lord Europa, Neo-Queen Serenity, Chenoa, and Peace are assembled. King Endymion starts the meeting. Okay. We must come together as one, and work together now. We can not afford anymore bickering amongst us. We have reason to believe that Enmity and his forces will be finding a new base very soon. We have a slight upper hand with Chenoa being able to pass through their barrier while she is linked to Kodia. So if she can get in, and somehow disable it, The rest of us can be ready for and attack when it drops.
Neo Queen Serenity looks around and is distraught over what she sees. Rei is obviously saddened, and angered, but somehow she seems to be holding herself together. Minako is just in tears, and stands in a corner away from the others. Haruka is standing by the balcony with anger, and hatred just under her cool expression. Michiru is next to her, trying to give her silent comfort, but it does not seem to be helping. Setsuna, Ami, and Angela are all discussing the plans to get into the base. Hotaru is sitting next Irene, and Kayla while Makoto is having a heated discussion with Motoki.
Neo Queen Serenity looks over to Chenoa. Chenoa, can you share with us some of the past legends since I know some of us don’t know them. The room suddenly becomes quiet, and everybody turns towards Chenoa. Chenoa, becomes uncomfortable as everyone's eyes are now on her. Chenoa clears her throat as she begins.
Well, I had Artemis look up some of the legends I remembered hearing of. First I want to share an important one, and it will explain my connection with Kodia, since none of you have met him yet. Chenoa looks down at Peace and just smiles. In the time of the beginning of the Silver Millennium, my brother and I were being raised by Queen Serenity. At that time one of the Ancients was visiting the Moon Kingdom. I suppose I was about 15. My Queen, I believe that you were 17 at that time, and you and Endymion were very close.
You both were secretly engaged, and were to be married within months. The Ancient and I spent a lot of time with each other. His name was Kodia. We fell in love just as all hell was breaking loose. The Senshi Council was headed by Queen Serenity, but one family had more influence than most at that time. That family was the family of Jupiter. She looks over and notices Motoki's angry eyes staring at her as if to threaten her. She acts as if she didn't see him by continuing her story.
Anyway, back to Kodia, and Peace. Peace was an advisor to Queen Serenity. He was trained by the Uranus family, and presented to the Queen as a gift. In the months before my brother, and I were imprisonment, Kodia was also assigned as one of the Queen’s advisors, he became her negotiator. Motoki stands, and with a fire in his eyes. So what does the family of Jupiter have to do with all of this? Motoki gives Chenoa a very stern look that causes a lump to form in her throat.
Peace, noticing Chenoa's discomfort decides to intervene. It seems that Lord Europa was the vote that forced Queen Serenity to imprison the twins. He was very vocal that the twins were destructive, and would only cause havoc for the Moon Kingdom. He disappeared not long after the twins were imprisoned. What is really weird is that Queen Beryl attacked the Moon Kingdom only a week after that.
Peace notices that Motoki's face begins to turn red with rage, but he decides to continue. If the twins had still been free, it is very possible that the Moon Kingdom could have survived the onslaught from Queen Beryl with their assistance. Motoki stands up and slams his fists on the table. LIES! You are lying! I know I was re born just as the Senshi, but I am not evil! I did not work for Metallia! Motoki suddenly grabs his head and falls back into his seat.
Motoki! Makoto rushes to his side just as his body disappears. WHAT! Motoki!? Where did he go!? Makoto drops to her knees, totally distraught. What happened to him? Neo Queen Serenity goes to Makoto’s side to try and comfort her. King Endymion looks over to Pluto. Setsuna, you and Ami figure out what just happened to Motoki. He then looks back to Chenoa. Please continue Chenoa, so we know the whole story.
Chenoa feeling very uncomfortable about what has just taken place, continues. When Europa insisted that Joshua, and I be imprisoned, Queen Serenity decided she was going to have Peace be our guardian, and to train us with his ESP power while we slept. Kodia found out about this, and knew that the only way to remain in contact with me was to join Peace willingly. There were only two known individuals that could even meld two souls together Kodia, and Europa.
Kodia melded with Peace, and they can only be separated once the true Ultimate Power is reached. We presume that after we were imprisoned, Europa imprisoned Enmity’s best friend Urami in the dragon Malice. Malice had been imprisoned in the Ancients Castle long ago, which is where Enmity now has his base. Endymion interrupts, So what your saying is that Kodia is inside Peace, and you and Peace are connected from the years of communicating through ESP.
Chenoa nods in acknowledgment as Endymion thinks about this for a moment, then he speaks. It was very possible that Europa could have been working for the Negaverse, or another evil. As it seems you have Peace as a guardian, so its reasonable to say that Malice, if she is free, would be Enmity's guardian. It didn’t appear to me that my brother knew about her. Enmity’s perception isn’t as strong as mine is. I believe that is just one of his traits. I am only guessing based on the dream of the past that Queen Serenity sent us to.
Urami disappeared about the same time we were imprisoned, and I know Europa wanted there to be no communication. Urami was a magician’s daughter that had some real power. Her father was what people on earth called a druid and, he was training her to follow in his footsteps. The Queen, feeling that she should allow this information sink in, decides to call an end to the meeting for now. Everyone leaves the chamber to do what ever task has been assigned to them. As they leave they try to reflect on the information that has just been revealed to them.
