Chapter 12: The Kiss
In the Palace Gardens the twins of Saturn are talking, and thinking about the things that have happened since they have awakened. They also discuss the events that led up to their imprisonment.
Suddenly they are interrupted by the appearance of King Endymion. Chenoa, I came out here to check on you, and make sure you were okay. Endymion stops as he notices that Chenoa is not alone.
He looks at Joshua and sees some resemblance to Chenoa. Finally it comes to him that this must be Chenoa's brother. You must be Chenoa’s brother, Endymion states, trying to hold in his anger. I am King Endymion, Can I ask what your intentions here are?
Joshua stands up slowly, keeping an eye on Endymion, making sure he makes no sudden moves. King Endymion, my name is Joshua, and I came here to see my sister. After all if you had a sister wouldn’t you want to talk with her occasionally?
King Endymion walks closer to the siblings. As he does, he feels that there is another presence nearby. Endymion decides to see how far he can push him as to show his true intentions. If you came to see your sister, then why do you have somebody waiting for you?
Joshua looks in the direction the King Endymion points to and looks confused. I brought nobody with me. I only came here to talk with my sister. Endymion's look of mistrust angers Joshua. I really don’t care if you don’t believe me. Perhaps you followed Chenoa cause you don’t trust her. Or is it something else?
Joshua holds his hand high and activates his henshin ring. Eternal Power!! Joshua transforms into Lord Enmity. An evil grin comes across Enmity's face as he faces the King. I could easily take you out now King Endymion. That would make a good step towards getting my revenge on the Moon Kingdom!
Chenoa stands, and gets between Enmity, and Endymion. She looks at Enmity with pleading eyes. Stop it! Please! You are my brother! Please, I don’t want to have to fight you! Enmity walks up to Chenoa, places a gentle hand on her shoulder, then suddenly shoves her to the ground. He then walks up to King Endymion. As Enmity gets closer to the King, Chenoa notices movement in the bushes.
Who do you have hiding in the bushes Enmity? Chenoa pleads. Tell me now or you will force me to destroy them, and their blood will be on your hands. Enmity looks over his shoulder toward his sister. I really don’t know what you are talking about. I didn’t think anybody knew I left. They knew I needed rest.
Chenoa hold up her henshin arm band up. ETERNAL POWER!! Chenoa transforms into Eternal Warrior Faithfullove. Peace races from across the gardens, and stops at Faithfullove's side. Enmity so help me if you are lying to me I will destroy you. She looks down at the white cat. Peace, Do your job.
Peace jumps into the bushes and they hear a scream. Ahhhh!! Get this animal off of me! I will take my wrath out on you!! Peace slowly comes out of the bushes, dragging Wicked Lady out, then lets her go, and she lands on her butt.
Chibi! Endymion exclaims as he starts to go to her. As the King races passes Enmity, Enmity see's an opening, and lands a knee into the King's gut. Endymion goes down holding his midsection. Daddy! Wicked Lady screams. She stands, and walks up to Enmity. I told you not to hurt him! With no warning she smacks Enmity in the face.
Enmity angered by Wicked Lady's actions, slaps Wicked Lady sending her reeling to the ground. Enmity glares down at Wicked Lady. Don’t ever do that again! Or you will forfeit your life! Tuxedo Bomber! The attack from the King hits Enmity square in the chest and knocks him down. Enmity seems to be disoriented from Endymion's surprise attack. Don’t you ever hit my daughter again or you will die at my hand!
Faithfullove recognizing the anger building up in Enmity, runs to stop him from attacking the King, but instead ends up getting caught in another blast protecting King Endymion. I will remedy that right now Enmity screams. Crimson Blast! He sees Faithfullove jump in the way to protect the King. but not in time to stop his attack. NO! Faithfullove! With lightning reflexes Enmity creates a portal, and grabs Wicked Lady before the blast hits.
Faithfullove takes the full brunt of the blast to prevent King Endymion from being injured, but from the injury the day before, and now this, she is truly weakened. As she passes out she sees Peace, and swears she sees the image of Kodia hover over the cat. Kodia? she asks weakly as she falls. Endymion catches her, and they both land on the ground from the blast. Faithfullove is rendered completely unconscious. She loses her transformation and King Endymion tries to wake her up.
Chenoa, wake up. Chenoa, Come on, You gotta wake up. Endymion pleads as he lightly pats her cheek to try and get her to wake up. Chenoa, wake up. Chenoa regains consciousness, and calls out weakly, Kodia. Chenoa’s body goes limp against King Endymion’s. Endymion looks over at Peace. Peace, go and get help, and have Diana bring some Saturn Tea leaves.
As Peace runs back to the Palace Endymion continues to try and awaken the fallen beauty. For lack of anything else to do Endymion uses his healing powers to try to at least revive Chenoa. Chenoa once again awakens, but is still very weak. Kodia? She asks as she looks at Endymion. She slowly brings her hand to Endymion’s cheek. My love is that you?
Chenoa, It's me, Endymion, are you ok? and who is this Kodia? Chenoa continues to look at Endymion with dreamy eyes filled with love. My love, oh my love, I have missed you so. Chenoa reaches up to Endymion and kisses him passionately. With this effort she one again passes out. During this kiss, Lord Europa, Eternal Warrior Uranus, and Diana arrive with Peace. They are all shocked as they run up to King Endymion.
Your Highness, What is going on here? Lord Europa demands. Deep down Europa becomes very suspicious of Endymion because he noticed the way Endymion looked at Chenoa during the council meeting. Uranus just stands there waiting for a reply, not sure if she will believe the answer from the King or not. She thought I was someone named Kodia. Endymion answers with a puzzled look on his face. Who is Kodia?
